Explanation of the conversion: I decided to add a standard laser attack to his other attacks.
History: Thundercracker could always fly, even before joining the Decepticons. He was recruited as a Decepticon under the leadership of Megatron in his war against the Autobots on the planet Cybertron. Thundercracker became a member of the elite Seekers under Aerospace Commander Starscream. He often worked with fellow Seeker Skywarp.
Skywarp and Thundercracker launched an attack against the city of Altihex, where they killed the Autobot named Overhaul and
routed Grimlock, Kup, Wheeljack, Ironhide, Skids, Bumblebee and Trailbreaker (Transformers: The War Within #1).
Starscream, Skywarp and Thundercracker attacked the city of Protihex under the orders of Megatron, but this time Grimlock launched a successful counterattack. If not for Skywarp's ability to teleport to safety, the Decepticons may have not escaped alive (Transformers: The War Within #3).
Skywarp was chosen as a member of the crew of the Nemesis when Megatron launched it to attack the Ark, an Autobot ship.
Both ships fought, and after the Decepticons boarded the Ark, it crashed on the planet Earth. All on board were placed in
emergency stasis lock for millions of years.
In the Earth year 1984, a volcanic explosion awakened the Ark. The Ark's computer, Teletran One, reformatted all on board
to be able to assume the forms of Earth machines. Skywarp was given the form of an F-15 fighter jet.
''You know Skywarp, I can't wait to get back to Cybertron. Earth's so flat.'' - Thundercracker
Eventually the combined forces of the Autobots on Earth, and their human allies were able to capture the Decepticons. A
ship called the Ark II was built to take the Cybertonians back to Cybertron, along with some human companions, but the
ship exploded shortly after takeoff. The human allies were killed, but the Cybertonians were lost in the ocean, again in
statis lock.
Returning to Earth under the command of Starscream, Skywarp, Soundwave and Thundercracker were captures by the Autobots
and locked in cells on board the Ark. They escaped when the Ark was attacked by Bruticus (Transformers: Generation One
III #1).
Soaring swiftly through the clouds, Thundercracker gazes with scorn on the creatures below. He is utterly contemptuous of
anything that cannot lift itself off the ground and claim the sky. Occasionally, he expresses that contempt by diving and
striking, leaving flame and destruction as he again speeds upward. Yet he is not totally convinced of the cause that he
serves. Only the words of his Decepticon companions about the rightness of their cause, the destiny of conquest that is
their birthright, convince him to go on. He is persuaded because he wants to be persuaded. Without a sense of purpose,
Thundercracker would find his life unbearable.
Trivia: On the Transformers television show, the voice of
Thundercracker is played by actor John Stephenson.
Thundercracker was also available as an Action Master.
Powers: Thundercracker is highly skilled and is a natural flyer. Like his fellow Decepticon jet fighters,
Thundercracker can attain speeds of up to 1500 mph. He has the
additional ability to produce controlled sonic booms of deafening magnitude that can be heard within a 200-mile radius. He
can launch a drone rocket with a range of 500 miles that behaves similarly to a cruise missile and has the concussive
force of 3000 lbs. of TNT. He has a shoulder-mounted automatic incendiary gun that shoots at 100 rounds per minute
heat-resistant ceramic bullets containing a highly explosive flammable material that ignites on impact.
Weaknesses: Lingering doubts in Thundercracker's subconscious sometimes surface and impede his effectiveness,
particularly when innocent human lives are endangered. Usually his fear of Decepticon leader Megatron compels him to
overlook these doubts.
