Explanation of the conversion:
History: After the defeat of Megatron II and the reformatting of Cybertron into a techno-organic world 300 years in the future,
a group of Autobots returned to Cybertron. They included Roulette, Shadow Striker, Sideswipe,
Sunstreaker and Trailbreaker. They were kidnapped by Unicron. Sunstreaker were reformatted by
Unicron and forced to fight each other, but they escaped with the aid of Optimus
Primal (Transformers: Universe #1-2).
Trivia: On the Transformers television show, the voice of
Sunstreaker is played by actor Corey Burton. The toy of Sunstreaker is similar
to that of Universe Sideswipe.
Powers: Sunstreaker is very brave and highly skilled. Since being reformatted he is even more skilled a fighter
and has even more impressive firepower than before. In robot mode, the double barreled multi-purpose launcher
mounted on his right arm fires dual laser-guided missiles. Launcher also doubles as a melee weapon which can create twin
fiery sabers. Shoulder mounted electron-pulse weapons ports are capable of emitting sustained bursts of high-energy
electron pulses at 300 bursts per second. He has special light amplification lenses which allow him to see in near
darkness. He is capable of turning into an earth-style car.
In robot form Sunstreaker sometimes utilizes a standard Autobot jet pack.
Weaknesses: A potent arsenal and tough hide like Sunstreaker's would be sufficient to preclude any serious weaknesses, it it weren't
for his ego and sociopathic tendencies. His inability to be a team player and overriding lust for battle often diminish
his overall value to the Autobots, and the ease with which he can be baited by anyone, including adversaries, often puts
his well-being in serious jeopardy.
