Explanation of the conversion:
History: Spittor was one of the protoforms from the Maximal ship called the Axelon commanded by Optimus Primal, which chased the Predacon
criminal Megatron II through transwarp space after the theft of the Golden Disc. The
Maximals and Predacons crashed on prehistoric Earth, where high energon levels threatened to destroy the crew unless they
adopted organic alternate modes (Beast Wars Part 1).
The Axelon's cargo of Maximal protoforms in stasis pods had been launched into orbit before the crash, but eventually
Spittor's pod fell to Earth.
Talk about tough, this guy doesn't feed on flies, he feeds on Maximals! After the end of the Beast Wars
Spittor's stasis pod was discoveredon Earth by Tarantulas and Spittor was made into a Predacon.
A quantum wave reformatted Spittor into a transmetal body.
Airazor, Tigatron, Ramulus, Sonar, Spittor,
Packrat and Fractyl allied Primal
Prime in leaving Earth. Traveling to the future they arrived on Cybertron when it was controlled by Megatron II and
his vehicon hords. On Cybertron they met Ape-Linq and Rodimus and reformed the Wreckers. Seeking wisdom from the Oracle,
the Wreckers were sent on a mission off planet. They were joined by the Deployers Mol, Rav and Dillo as well as Arcee and
Devcon while making it off planet in an Autobot Shuttle (Convention Comic 2001).
On their way off planet an explosive on the Wreckers shuttle went off, forcing the abandonment of the rear section of the
ship. Sonar, Spittor, Mol, Rav and Dillo were lost (Convention Comics 2002).
Trivia: The toy of Spittor is similar to the Maximal called Diver. Spittor was released as a Transmetal in Europe,
but it was only a reapint of his original toy. He was also released as a Transmetal II with a completely new mold.
Powers: Spittor is a Predacon, a small, highly fuel efficient Cybertonian. He is nearly fearless and can assume
the form of a frog.
He can cling to most any surface. More poisonous than a Cybertron razor snake, Spittor can immobilize an enemy in less
than seven seconds. Highly sensitive microchips existing just millimeters below his skin instantly release venom upon
contact. When on the attack, his powerful legs allow him to leap in front of enemies over 100 yards away.
After catching them off guard, he releases his head-butting poison tongue to knock 'em out cold. He has long arms in
robot mode and an entending tongue in beast mode, allowing him to touch opponents before they can reach him. He is an
expert on sneaking up on his prey. He recovers
from damage quicker in beast mode and is better protected from high energon levels as well.
When Spittor arrived on Cybertron he was immunized by Ape-Linq against the transformation locking
virus created by Megatron II.
Weaknesses: Spittor is pretty weak, especially for someone who specializes in hand-to-hand attacks. Most of the
damage he deals is from his poison and not from his physical punch. High energon fields can adversely effect Spittor if he
stays in robot form for too long. His animal form is protected from high energon levels. Spittor lacks ranged weapons.
