Explanation of the conversion:

Hulk Annual #6 History: Created by the Enclave using the same process that spawned Adam Warlock. They named their creation Paragon. After destroying thier citidel Paragon retreated into a cocoon (Incredible Hulk Annual #6).

Marvel Two-In-One #61 She emerged later in a female form called Her. The being known as Her tried to resurrect Warlock, the only man worthy of being her mate. Warlock's soul stubbornly refused to return to his revived body, leaving Her heartbroken and inconsolable (Marvel Two-In-One #61-62).

Her wandered the universe for some years. While exploring space, she stumbled upon a world ruled by an authoritarian dictator whom she helped overthrow (Marvel Comics Presents #35).

Alpha Flight #097 However, the leader had business connections with the alien Consortium, who were extremely displeased with what Kismet had done. They decided to eliminate her and chased her to earth where she landed in Toronto. Once there, Alpha Flight decided to protect her but was unprepared for how seriously the Consortium was taking the matter. They were finally able to resolve the matter when, after half of the team, along with several Avengers were transported to another dimension to face Galactus, used him to defeat the Consortium (Alpha Fight #97-100).

Her then discovered that Warlock had resurrected again, this time with soul in place. However, Warlock refused to father Her's offspring. Miffed at his rejection, and feeling a strong urge to procreate, Her tested several of the champions of Earth, and choose Quasar III, Hercules, Wonder Man, Hyperion, Doc Samson and Gilgamesh all to father her children using reproductive pods. Quasar III talked her out of forcing them to father her children, but she settled on Quasar III as her ideal mate, much to his chagrin (Quasar #27-29).

Quasar #34 Convinced it was her destiny to follow Quasar III across the Universe and beyond, Her renamed herself Kismet and proceeded to embarrass Quasar III by dogging his footsteps. Seriously wounded in a battle with Quasar III's Star-Brand-wielding girlfriend, Kayla, Kismet involuntarily retreated into a life-sustaining cocoon. When she emerged, she healed members of the Enclave by encasing them in cocoons, accidentally turning them into cosmic beings. During Operation Galatic Storm she battled Starbolt (Quasar #33), the Super-Skrull and Binary (Quasar #34).

Quasar #49 Kismet ended up fighting Quasar III's girlfriend Kayla Balentine, who weilded the power of the Star Brand, over him (Quasar #49).

Trivia: In the alternate future the Guardians of the Galaxy come from Kismet and Quasar III are the parents to the Guardian called Starhawk.

Powers: Kismet can channel cosmic power through her body. Kismet can survive in space and is capable of firing bolts of cosmic energy from her hands. She can rearrange matter and fly at great speeds.
