Explanation of the conversion:
History: Buzzclaw was one of the protoforms from the Maximal ship called the Axalon commanded by Optimus Primal, which chased the Predacon
criminal Megatron II through transwarp space after the theft of the Golden Disc. The
Maximals and Predacons crashed on prehistoric Earth, where high energon levels threatened to destroy the crew unless they
adopted organic alternate modes (Beast Wars Part 1).
The Axalon's cargo of Maximal protoforms in stasis pods had been launched into orbit
before the crash, but eventually Buzzclaw's pod fell to Earth. Damaged in planetfall,
Buzzclaw pod mixed up the genetic scans of local life forms when formatting him, causing him to
emerged in a bizarre hybrid form. Buzzclaw's beast mode is a combination of preying mantis and lizard. His datatracks
damaged in the crash, the violent Buzzclaw joined the Predacons.
Buzzclaw has all the markings of a ferocious but sly warrior. Generally stotic and silent, when it comes to the business of
battle Buzzclaw is arrogant, resourceful and intent on the job at hand.
Trivia: The toy of Buzzclaw is similar to that of Repugnus II.
Powers: Buzzclaw highly energy efficient and skilled. In can fire ion discs from his forearms. He carries
a shield in combat. He turns into a hybrid preying mantis/lizard with nasty claws. His claw/backpack allows him to fly in
either mode. He recovers from damage quicker in beast mode and is better protected from high energon levels as well.
Weaknesses: Overall Buzzclaw only has average speed and his ion discs only do moderate damage. He is among the
lowest ranking Predacons. High energon fields
can adversely effect Buzzclaw if he stays in robot form for too long. His animal form is protected from high energon
levels. He lacks ranged attacks and hands in his beast mode.
