Explanation of the conversion: Bludgeon's Shell is bought as a vehicle with an
onboard computer. It responds directly to radio commands from Bludgeon when he isn't wearing it, or can be piloted by him
when he is wearing it. To represent Bludgeon before he became a Pretender, merely remove his Vehicle and Susceptability
from this write-up. This would lower his cost to 231+120 points.
History (Dreamwave comics): Bludgeon was recruited as a Decepticon under the leadership of Megatron in his war against the Autobots on the planet Cybertron.
Shockwave lead the Decepticon attack on the Autobot capitol of Iacon 8.2 million years ago.
Among his troops were Astrotrain, Blitzwing, Bludgeon, Brawl,
Chopshop, Dirge, Frenzy, Octane, Onslaught, Ramjet, Tantrum, Venom and Vortex.
When Megatron and Autobot leader Optimus Prime disappeared in an accident with a space
bridge, the Autobot and Decepticon forces splintered into smaller factions. Bludgeon became leader with the Chaos Trinity,
which was comprised of himself, Bugly and Mindwipe. Rival Decepticon factions were lead by Shockwave and Ratbat.
Bludgeon became a Pretender.
Bludgeon is calm and prepared, always giving the disconcerting impression that he knows something no one else does. He
frightens other Decepticons with his emotionless demeanor during combat. One of the few Decepticons who could be described
as honorable, the aloof Bludgeon adheres to an arcane code which only he understands. He feels that each worthy opponent
he conquers adds to his own abilities, bringing him closer to his ideal of the "ultimate warrior." His
superstitious ways and eerie religious practices disturb many Decepticons, but none can deny his effectiveness in combat,
nor would they try, lest he turn his seemingly supernatural abilities against them.
Powers: Subject is one the most skilled hand-to-hand combatants currently on Cybertron and is a master of the
forgotten art of Metallikato. In robot mode, subject can fly and is armed with a high powered energo-sword and
accompanying shield, as well as an electric cannon. He possesses the ability to internally generate electric fireballs
that can be directed through his body or shell with a range of over 400 yards. He can turn into a tank which uses the cannon
as a main weapon.
Weaknesses: Bludgeon isn't very fast outside his shell. Subject has few known physical weaknesses, but adherence to
his superstitious beliefs and code of honor can hamper his battlefield effectiveness. Like all Pretenders, damage to his
shell causes him a painful mental backlash.
