  • About The Game:

  • Synopsis: So what is this? Well, Highnoon was a C64 game from Ocean about 15 years ago. Basically you play a sheriff of a town who must shoot baddies as they try to rob the bank or kidnap ladies from the saloon. One cute aspect is that whenever you kill a baddie, a mortician appears and hauls off the body. He also appears to recover your body when you die. Fun for a few minutes of bloodshed.

I played an Amiga port by a group called Seasons, as well as running the d64 file on the C64 emulator Magic64. Both worked well on my Amiga 1200. The Amiga port by Seasons will run full speed on just about CPU, while the emulated version is extremely system friendly, but needs a fairly powerful CPU.
